Setu is an AI-first platform that helps students plan and manage applications to international universities. From university matching to application management and tutor connections, Setu keeps you organised and on track.

What Setu is not
A guarantee of admission, scholarships, or visas
A substitute for your own effort, research, or final decision-making
An immigration consultant or financial advisor
Setu provides tools and guidance. Final decisions and outcomes belong to you and the institutions you apply to.

1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Setu independently. Users aged 16–17 may use the platform with parental or guardian consent.
2. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining your account security and ensuring your information is accurate and up to date.
3. Permitted Use
You may:
Use Setu for personal university application planning
Access AI-powered tools
Book and attend tutoring sessions
You may not:
Misrepresent experiences or qualifications
Share your account credentials
Ask tutors to ghostwrite applications
Harass users or violate laws
4. AI Features
AI helps with brainstorming, structure, and planning. You must verify outputs and ensure final work is your own.
5. Tutoring Sessions and Payments
How tutoring works
Setu connects students with independent tutors who set their own prices.

Session prices are shown on tutor profiles
Taster session available at 50% price
Bundle pricing available at checkout
Platform fee
Included in checkout price
Payments
Processed via Razorpay. Setu does not store full card details.
Cancellations & refunds
Single sessions:
Cancel 24+ hours before → full refund
Less than 24 hours → no refund
Bundles:
24+ hours → credit returned
Less than 24 hours → credit lost
Tutor cancellations:
Full refund or credit automatically
Refunds may take 5–10 business days.
Disputes
Contact support@mysetu.ai within 7 days.
6. Tutoring Standards
Tutors provide guidance only and are independent contractors.
7. Third-Party Services
Includes Razorpay and AWS. Setu is not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual Property
You own your content. Setu owns the platform and branding.
9. Limitation of Liability
Setu is provided “as is.” Liability is limited to payments made in the past 12 months.
10. Termination
Accounts may be suspended for violations. Data is deleted within 90 days upon request.
11. Changes
Users will be notified of major updates. Continued use means acceptance.
